Company History

Eli Coetzee Consulting Engineers is a consulting engineering firm specialising in the design of structures.

When starting out in 2010, we recognized two important shortcomings in the industry namely a lack in client capability to support the proper undertaking of public sector projects; and a lack of trust in consulting services by private clients.

We have therefore embarked on delivering services to private companies and to develop trust through continual deliverance of sound advice and quality work. Over the past 10 years, we have experienced growing success with this strategy and we have been able to build robust relationships that have stabilized our initial erratic workflow and provided a platform for steady and sustainable growth of project quality and volumes, and also very importantly, in-house capacity and capability.

Testimony of this success is the growth of the quality of projects that we are involved with, and also our ongoing involvement with different projects for the same clients over many years even when in some instances there have been changes in key client personnel.

We have experienced that once trust is established, our client relationships develop more towards partnerships allowing our clients to focus on their core business while we look after their infrastructure development needs. By focussing on private (mostly international) clients, we have further realized that we are continuously forced to grow to meet international quality standards and work ethics.
