Mining & Other

We have completed projects for gold-, coal-, platinum- and dolomite mines ranging from shaft closures and conveyer planning to multi-level processing plants inclusive of dynamic analysis of oscillating equipment and supports for raise bore machines used for deep shaft sinking.

We have also been fortunate to be involved in various interesting ad-hoc projects including the design of sculptures, communication tower mast bases, concrete water retaining structures including large reservoirs, game lodges, temporary structures for the construction industry, investigations into structural failures, and structural audits.

The successful undertaking of the above work really requires an in-depth understanding of the subject, is fun and exciting to be involved with, and frequently requires more study into specific aspects that eventually improves our overall expertise.
